| Heading north on 95, turn left on Riverside (before the bridge that would
take you over the river) - the Kootenai River will be on your right. Follow over the railroad tracks out to the
wildlife refuge (approximately 6 miles). The refuge office and the red barn are on your right. Continue on the
same road - the name changes to Westside Road. The driveway is 3.6 miles further north on the left. A sign at the
base of the driveway notes: A Family Dog - the driveway splits to the left and another sign notes Kennels and points
up to the left. Our facility is at the top of the property. Please advise us if the weather is inclement and you
prefer to have us meet you - although we plow our driveway - it is steep and some vehicles/drivers may have difficulty. |
